WJC Sports Kids educates and prepares student-athletes for their potential future in college
athletics and provides recreational events where youth can experience having true fun in
sports.
WJC Sports Kids serves all youth looking to learn the sports industry and having fun while
participating in recreational activity.
Most youth and their parents today do not know the entire process of becoming recruited for
college athletics and today’s youth no longer have recreation venues where they can just
play without all of the parental pressures and skill level requirements.
WJC Sports Kids will help the youth and their parents with the recruiting process by
providing seminars where valuable information will be provided from the area colleges or
universities athletic department. The kids will get an opportunity to get up close and
personal with college coaches at the seminars and give them their athletic resume and/or
highlight reel.
In today’s recreation leagues, some kids are not permitted to participate because of their
skill level. WJC Sports Kids provides recreation venues where children of ALL skill levels
can participate and the focus is on having fun.
Many student-athletes become disenchanted and gave up their sport because a college or
university has not approached them with a scholarship offer. Also the fun has been totally
taken out of youth recreation leagues. WJC Sports Kids wants to help by showing that there
are more than one way to get recruited and receive an athletic scholarship offer and that
there are youth recreation events where the emphasis is on having fun.
